I am currently an AI Research Manager at Zebra Technologies, managing a team of Machine Learning Research Engineers and leading the Large Language Model project, responsible for identifying and delivering iterative product innovation. Before that I was heading the AI Labs team at SS&C Blue Prism, leading projects across Computer Vision, Document Processing and Large Language Models.

Until 2022, I maintained and developed the open-source applied reinforcement learning framework Tensorforce.

I was awarded my PhD in machine learning from the University of Cambridge on Evaluating visually grounded language capabilities using microworlds, supervised by Prof Ann Copestake. My dissertation has been highly commended as one of two runners-up in the UK-wide CPHC/BCS Distinguished Dissertation Award 2020.
